Design Philosophy:
Our spaces tell so much about
us. They often open a window to where we are both
mentally and emotionally. And they silently - yet profoundly -
influence what
we experience.
I believe that, be it Interior Design or Production Design, we can give
life to people or characters through the design we place into their
environments.

A
good set tells a story before a single word is spoken. Doing this on
time and on budget is what makes each project a welcome challenge for
me.
We
must also consider that in a production, be it film or
television, all players must work together and be at the top
of
their game. You can have the best looking set, but if it is not lit
properly by a great DP, or you have weak talent in the scene, it is all
for naught.

It's
a fact that most of us are drawn to order vs. chaos. And while we
may not be conscious of it right away, we feel an immediate sense of
comfort and inspiration when we enter a space which flows to our liking
and reflects something personal about us.
Good
design is when form and function merge together seamlessly. When the
beauty & charm of the furnishings marry with the lifestyle
&
practical needs of the owner. The client's lifestyle is always my
design compass.
I
believe every design must be unique to the person I'm working with.
Individuals, couples, or families may not be certain how to get the
look or feeling they want in their space, and that's where I step in to
help. Through pleasant conversation and a tour of your existing
surroundings,
together we identify your interests and preferences, as well as explore
how you live and use the space. And by the time we're done, we've
composed a
marvelous design that will truly change the way you live.
